From Katie in Washington, DC
(Katie was Ms Moore's student in Grade 3 when Ms Moore taught in Chatfield, Minnesota)

I am so pleased to have received the e-version of Flat Mrs. Creed – and am hopeful to receive the postal version soon!

I will read through the materials and let you know if I have any questions before getting started. In the meantime, stay safe and well. Thinking about all of the students, teachers, parents, staff, and families that are managing through this difficult time!

From Jessica Buck in England:

Hello Linley
My name is Jess, Mrs Cripps is my aunt! My mum is her sister!
I live in Chelmsford, Essex, England.
I am a primary school teacher (I am doing supply teaching ATM) but we are currently on our summer holidays.
We are currently in the middle of a heatwave (for England) it is 32 degress Celsius. I have attached a photo of my garden - I bet it looks different from gardens in Australia?!
I have just come back from a visit to Wales (photo attached!) We went to look at the beach. It was cold!! But there were starfish!!

We are not in lockdown atm, although some places in England are (depending on the number of Corona cases). We have to wear face masks in shops/supermarkets and there are lots of signs to stay apart/lots of hand sanitisers but other than that, things are back to normal!

I will send over multiple emails as and when I do things/have Flat Mrs Cripps.

Best wishes  Jess

From Laurene in France:
Hello Johannes,
Confirming receipt of your e-mail. Thanks for sending Flat Mrs Creed.. I’m on vacation tomorrow for 3 weeks and will definitely have more time to send you information about my life and family. My job and children make me very busy... My husband and myself work full time and my children are young (2 and 4 years old) and very demanding after their mum đŸ˜€ especially they are 2 boys and move a lot!

 Cheers  Laurène
